Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) Undergraduate Curriculum

Located in New Zealand's capital city, the University of Otago, Wellington is one of the University of Otago's three clinical schools. About 200 fourth, fifth and sixth year medical students attend the School having completed years one to three in the main University of Otago campus in Dunedin.

Our mission is to provide research-based undergraduate professional and academic courses of international standard in the health sciences, to meet the needs of New Zealand society for a suitably qualified workforce in the health professions and to advance knowledge in the health sciences and promote health care through basic and applied research.
