Introduction

The University of Otago, Wellington undertakes health research as part of a commitment to helping create a healthier, more productive society. The School is proudly associated with the Malaghan Institute, Capital and Coast DHB, Hutt Valley Health and a large number of hospitals outside the Wellington region. In addition, the School has also fostered links with a number of private providers and leading specialists.

WellSleep - Sleep Disorders Clinic

This clinic is located at Bowen Hospital and has a research programme focused on new therapies for obstructive sleep apnoea and the possible role of sleep disorders in traffic accidents.

Photography Unit

The Photographic Unit provides a comprehensive photographic and imaging service. Photography can be undertaken at any location both inside and outside the hospital campus or at our well equipped studio.
